Admission Policy
We are committed to the provision of an enriched and challenging
program for every student. Students and teachers work well together
when they experience clearly defined tasks. Teachers are expected
to teach with expertise, with passion, with care for the student,
and most important, a supreme love for God. Students are expected
to enter the school with a learning readiness. Their job is to attend
to learning. They are required to show energy towards this task
by actively participating in the dynamic of the classroom, working
diligently on assignments, asking for learning help when necessary
and showing respect for one another and God in all situations.
To protect this vision and mission for Christian education, the
Board of Directors has adopted the following admission criteria:
- The parents or guardian are required to be members of King’s
Christian Collegiate.
- The parents or guardian or the student are required to be active
members of, or adherent to, a Christian church that declares Jesus
Christ as Lord and Saviour.
- An appropriate program placement must be available for the
student.
- The parents or guardian and the student need to agree that
the student will participate in all compulsory courses and school
activities.
- The student agrees to sign a student code of conduct.
- At the discretion of the Board of Directors, an exception can
be made to criteria (1) or (2) if it is determined that admission
is beneficial for the student and for King’s Christian Collegiate.
