Our Administrative Staff

The Principal

Jim Vanderkooy has served as Principal in two Christian High Schools. From 1987 to 2000 he was employed in a leadership role at Hamilton District Christian High School. In 2000, he joined a small group of pioneers who had a vision for establishing the first Christian high school in Halton Region - King's Christian Collegiate.

Jim holds a Specialist’s certificate in Special Education from Brock University, a Master’s degree from the University of Toronto and the Ontario Principal’s Qualification from the Ministry of Education.

Jim’s job description includes program leadership, financial development and promotional development.
