The Essentials...

King's Christian Collegiate is an independent Christian high school in Oakville, Ontario, offering students every opportunity for success in high school and beyond, by providing excellent instruction in a safe and stimulating academic environment.

Since opening with 64 students in 2001, King's now serves over 440 students in Grades 9 through 12. Class sizes are limited, with some classes having fewer than ten students, allowing lively interaction and an ideal opportunity for maximum learning. The student body is comprised of teens from around the globe, including international students from Egypt, Korea, Australia, South America and China.                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                     King’s teachers are qualified, certified Christian educators, known for their pioneering spirits, their dedication to their students and their passion for their subject areas. Our staff meets weekly for professional development training to ensure they are equipped with every resource required. Many of our teachers hold a Masters degree or higher and are trained to teach students to think critically, creatively and inquisitively. They come from a diverse range of countries and denominations, but work together as a team with one common focus: the equipping of students for Godly leadership in the marketplace, the church, and their communities.

Athletics, drama, music, visual arts and an enthusiastic Student Council enrich the life of King’s. Staff Student Life Co-ordinators supervise a prefect system whereby students are integrated into the community life of King's from their very first day. Students are encouraged to participate in school-organized and teacher-led mission and cultural trips to such far-off destinations as Ghana, Africa, France and Brazil.

Our modern 80,000 square foot facility provides a technology rich environment, with Smart Boards in each of its large classrooms. The expansive gymnasium is sought after for sports tournaments, church gatherings, concerts and community events. The Food Services Department operates a catering and banqueting service on evenings and week-ends, and provides healthy, hot meals to staff and students daily.

A vibrant mix of dedicated teachers and energetic students makes for an exciting high school experience for all our students, one that challenges and stimulates, and prepares them for further academic pursuits, for work, for ministry, and for Godly living.
